Richard Chesney is a CDL Instructor at Custom Diesel Drivers Training (CDDT) with 12 years of experience in the trucking industry. As an instructor, Richard works directly with students throughout their training to help them build the skills and confidence needed to become safe, job-ready commercial drivers.

Richard supports students through hands-on instruction, guiding them through key driving fundamentals, maneuvering techniques, and real-world preparation for CDL testing. Known as a genuinely nice guy, Richard brings a supportive and approachable energy to training—helping students feel comfortable asking questions, learning at their pace, and staying focused on their goal of earning their CDL.
